How True Finance is compensated
True Finance is a loan connection service. When you submit a request and it is delivered to a lender or lender network, that lender pays us a fee. Fees vary by lender, amount and state. We may also receive compensation from other financial products displayed on the site, such as cash advance apps or credit cards, when you click through or apply.
What compensation can affect
- Which lenders receive your request, and in what order, when more than one could serve you.
- Where products or partners are displayed on the site.
Compensation does not affect the APR, fees or terms a lender offers you; those are set by the lender and disclosed to you before you sign.
What compensation does not affect
Our rate ranges, representative examples, calculators, state information and guides are written by our editorial team against published lender terms and primary sources (CFPB, FTC, NCUA, Federal Reserve, state regulators). We do not accept payment to rank one lender or product above another in content, to change a figure, or to recommend a product we believe is a poor choice. See our editorial standards.
Not all lenders
We do not work with every lender in the market. Offers available elsewhere may have different terms. Comparing with a credit union or bank is always a good idea.
