From request to money in the bank in five steps
One two-minute request reaches licensed lenders in your state. You see real offers with a soft check, choose one, e-sign, and most loans fund the next business day. Here is exactly what happens at each step and what you need.
Five steps, one business day
Every step you control is on the left and right; the time each one typically takes is on the rail.
- 12 minutes
Tell us what you need
Choose an amount from $200 to $5,000 and a term. Add your income, pay frequency and checking-account details. No documents to upload yet, and nothing is sent to a credit bureau as a hard inquiry.
- Amount and purpose
- Income source and frequency
- Bank routing and account number
- ID and Social Security number for verification
- 2Seconds
We match you with lenders
Your request is checked against the licensing and criteria of lenders in our network for your state, amount and profile. Only lenders that can serve you receive it. We do not sell your request to the highest bidder.
- Licensed in your state
- Amount and term in range
- Income and banking profile fit
- Complaint history clean
- 3Minutes
Lenders run a soft check and respond
Participating lenders view your credit file with a soft inquiry that does not affect your score, and reply with an offer or a decline. If a lender can help, you see the APR, monthly payment and total cost side by side.
- APR shown up front
- Monthly payment and total repayment
- Fees, if any, listed
- No obligation to accept
- 45 minutes
You review and e-sign
Read the agreement on your phone. Check the payment date, the total cost and the prepayment terms. Accepting triggers the lender's one hard inquiry and starts funding.
- Truth in Lending disclosure
- Payment schedule
- Prepayment and late-fee terms
- E-signature, no paper
- 5Next business day
Funds arrive
Most lenders deposit by ACH the next business day; some offer same-day debit-card funding before their cut-off time. Repayment is automatic on the schedule you agreed to.
- ACH to your checking account
- Same-day options with some lenders
- Autopay on the due date
- Early payoff allowed by most lenders
What "loan connection service" actually means
True Finance is not a lender. We operate the request form, screen lenders for licensing and complaint history, and route your request only to lenders that can legally serve your state and profile. The lender makes the credit decision, sets the rate, funds the loan and collects payments.
We are paid by lenders when a connection is made. That compensation never changes the offers you see; every lender must show its APR and total cost, and you compare them yourself.

Four things that make the two-minute form take two minutes
Government ID and Social Security number. Used to verify who you are, not as a hard inquiry.
Most recent pay stub, 30 days of bank statements, or a benefit or 1099 statement.
Routing and account number of the checking account where you want funds deposited.
A working phone and email for the decision, the e-sign link and payment reminders.
How it works: questions
Timing, credit impact and what True Finance does and does not do.
How long does the whole process take?
Two minutes to request, minutes to a decision, and funds the next business day in most cases. Same-day funding is possible with some lenders if you accept before their cut-off.
Does requesting a loan affect my credit score?
No. Lenders use a soft inquiry to show offers. A hard inquiry happens only if you accept a specific lender's loan.
Is True Finance a lender?
No. True Finance is a loan connection service. We match your request with licensed lenders; the lender makes the credit decision and funds the loan.
Does it cost anything to request?
No. There is no fee to request or to view offers. Lenders may charge an origination fee, which is included in the APR shown before you sign.
What if no lender makes an offer?
You are told right away. Try a smaller amount, a shorter term or add a cosigner, or see our guides for alternatives. A decline through a soft check does not affect your score.
Can I have more than one loan?
Some lenders allow a second loan after several on-time payments. Each accepted loan is a separate hard inquiry and agreement.
